Northern Dynasty Minerals Ltd. announced t yesterday the completion of the third tranche of its amended royalty agreement, receiving a $12 million investment. This payment is part of the royalty agreement dated July 26, 2022, as amended, for the Pebble Project. The company noted that there is no assurance the royalty holder will complete the two remaining tranches. The Pebble Project faces significant risks, including uncertainties around permits, technical and economic feasibility, and legal challenges.
The stock is trading at 1.8300, up 0.2600, gaining 16.51% on the TSX following the news, on volume of over 1.4 million shares as of this report. The stock makes the TSX top percentage gainer list today based on its trading.
