Meta Platforms, Inc. (NasdaqGS:META) has announced the addition of new ways for creators to earn money on its platforms, and the expansion of its testing of digital collectibles, such as NFTs. This will include the introduction of NFTs in Instagram Stories with augmented reality platform SparkAR. Meta's CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, commented in a Facebook post:

We're expanding our test so more creators around the world can display their NFTs on Instagram. We'll bring this feature to Facebook soon too - starting with a small group of US creators - so people can cross-post on Instagram and Facebook. We'll also test NFTs in Instagram Stories with SparkAR soon.

Digihost Technology Inc. (NasdaqCM:DGHI) has completed its previously announced transaction with Grede II, LLC to acquire property in the state of Alabama as a means to expand its current operational capacity. The company plans to immediately start construction and developing the facilities in Alabama to bring the property to "a hashing capacity of 28 MW by the end of the third quarter of 2022 and a total of 55 MW by the end of the first quarter of 2023." Michel Amar, Chairman and CEO of Digihost, said:

AI and crypto firm DigiMax Global Inc. (CSE:DIGI) has signed a definitive agreement to acquire all of the issued and outstanding shares of Israel-based Spetz Tech Ltd. According to the press release, "Spetz's proprietary mobile application uses AI to determine which service provider best matches the work sought by a given consumer, then immediately establishes a connection between consumer and service provider, usually within 30 seconds to one minute of the consumer request." Chris Carl, CEO of DigiMax, said:

"Spetz's network of service providers and AI technology are ahead of the curve, and the existing synergies between its business and DigiMax are readily apparent. The rapid adoption of Spetz's application in Australia and the UK has shown that Spetz's model works, and with the support provided by DigiMax, we believe that a similar, if not greater, rate of adoption of Spetz's application will occur in North America."
