Feeding America, the nation's largest domestic hunger-relief organization, provides food and services to more than 46 million people each year.

Utilizing Feeding America's network of agencies, American Water and the American Water Charitable Foundation will help food banks secure the resources they need to serve those impacted by COVID-19. Funding provided by American Water and the American Water Charitable Foundation's Disaster Relief Grant Program was directed to Feeding America's COVID-19 Response Fund. For every dollar donated, Feeding America helps secure and distribute 12 pounds of food - the equivalent of 10 meals - through its nationwide network of food banks.
