EAST GREENWICH, RI - September 18, 2017 - (Investorideas.com Newswire) Verdi Productions reports that producer Chad A. Verdi has attached Oscar nominated actor Burt Young ("Rocky") to their next feature, '"Vault." Young will play mafia underboss, Don Ruggerio. Young will be joining Theo Rossi ("Sons of Anarchy," "Marvel's Luke Cage,") who was recently signed as the lead. "Vault," directed by Tom DeNucci, will start principal photography on or about April 2nd, 2018 and will be filmed entirely in the state of Rhode Island.
Written by B. Dolan and Tom DeNucci and inspired by true events, "Vault" tells the story of a group of small time criminals in 1975, who attempt to pull off the biggest heist in American history, stealing over $30 million from the Mafia in the smallest state in the union, Rhode Island.
The film is being produced by Chad & Michelle Verdi, Nick Koskoff and Matthew Weiss. Executive producers are Nicholas Carmona, Dawn Vanzant, Ryan Murphy & Tanja Lynch.
