Mumbai - August 1, 2018 (Investorideas.com Newswire) BSE India's largest currency derivative exchange on Monday, 30 July 2018 launched USINR Weekly Futures & options. BSE reported a daily average turnover of around Rs 2130 cr in USINR Weekly Futures & options on third day of the launch.
The trading in these contracts is available between 9.00 am and 5:00 pm from Monday to Friday. Eleven weekly expiry contracts excluding the expiry week of monthly contract shall be available for trading. The last trading day for the contracts shall be Every Friday of the and the final settlement price of the contracts shall be computed using the RBI reference rate for USD-INR on the last trading day of the contract.
Introduction of such instruments on exchanges will help market participants to hedge their foreign currency exposures effectively.
