Over half of pups sold in Cryptopups presale
Blockchain Game CryptoPups sold over half of its 2000 available stock with time still left.
San Francisco - February 8, 2018 (Investorideas.com Newswire) CryptoPups, an Ethereum based blockchain game developed by Loki Studios has sold over half its available stock in the ongoing pre-sale event. Two thousand CryptoPups were announced for the week-long pre-sale event which went live on early Monday morning. As of Thursday morning over half of the Pups have been sold all over the world.
With the recent announcements of similar blockchain based games, Loki Studios are very happy with the sales figures so far. "We know that people are very excited to get invested in their pups. Thanks to the amazing feedback and support we have had over the past couple of days, we are very excited about the future of CryptoPups"
CryptoPups uses blockchain technology, the same technology that made similar games like Cryptokitties popular. The game uses ether (ETH), a digital currency, for all its transactions. This allows each dog to hold monetary value as a digital collectible and can be securely traded with tracked ownership, making the trade and sale process 100% secure thanks to Ethereum.
The game itself is centered around the collectible dogs that can be bred, traded, sold, and of course, loved. Each dog is unique and cannot be replicated, creating digital scarcity for each one allowing the dog to retain its value. Owners of several breeds can start breeding their own unique creations and keep or trade them as they wish.
The game will officially launch on the 12th of February, you can purchase Pups and find more out about the game over at the pre-sale here.
