Finalists Chosen In SAE International, NextEnergy And MI Innovation Alliance Global Automotive & Mobility Competition

 

DETROIT, MICHIGAN - March 21, 2015 (www.investorideas.com newswire) Nine talented young entrepreneurial organizations competed at NextEnergy on Thursday, March 10, 2016, for the opportunity to be a Finalist at the 8th Annual SAE International/MI Innovation Alliance Global Automotive & Mobility Innovation Competition (GAMIC) Finals, with prizes of $50,000 in cash and in kind services in four categories. The Finals will take place on Tuesday, April 12, during SAE 2016 World Congress at the Cobo Center in Detroit where more than 10,000 people are expected to attend.

The Semi-Finals were held in Detroit at a NextEnergy gathering where entrepreneurs, service providers, automotive industry executives and investors met , discussed, and took action on growing new businesses. The Semi Finals were sponsored by Sterne Kessler Goldstein Fox, ESG Automotive, and Automation Alley to support improving speed of successful innovation commercialization.

Previous year's winners, EmiSense (now CoreTech) and Covaron, shared stories of the great support provided by GAMIC mentors who helped them reach key commercial milestone achievements, including raising growth financing and obtaining customer agreements.
