News about Solar Stocks Commentary with J. Peter Lynch

New York, NY - May 24, 2012 ( renewable energy/green newswire), a leader in renewable energy stock research for independent investors, is creating a new content series with its solar expert J. Peter Lynch to give investors a snapshot of where solar companies stand in terms of their technology and overall business model. and Mr. Lynch are openly inviting all publicly traded solar stocks to participate if they think they can answer the tough questions he may pose.

The new format will consist of Mr. Lynch asking 3-4 relevant questions that investors may not think of that will paint a clear picture of each company. With solar stocks and the industry under pressure, if investors are considering bottom feeding this will create a great tool to do so.

"On average solar stocks are 80% OVERSOLD with a number of them being oversold by significantly greater than 100%. At some point, I am sure that they give us another buying opportunity", he noted in his recent column.

When the Solyndra scandal broke, Peter Lynch was one of the most quoted experts on the subject and was featured on ABC News, NY Times and Washington Post just to name a few. Peter Lynch told ABC News the company's fate should have been obvious from the start. "Here's the bottom line," Lynch said. "It costs them $6 to make a unit. They're selling it for $3. In order to be competitive today, they have to sell it for between $1.5 and $2. That is not a viable business plan."

Mr. Lynch has worked, for 31 years as an independent analyst and investor in small emerging technology companies. He has been actively involved in following developments in the renewable energy sector since 1977 and is regarded as an expert in this field. He was the contributing editor for the past 17 years to the Photovoltaic Insider Report, the leading publication in Photovoltaics industry that was directed at industrial subscribers, such as major energy companies, utilities and governments around the world.
