Investment Highlights
ZAP and Shandong Jindalu Vehicle Company, Ltd. are seeking to scale up production for their pioneering auto industry venture in China to manufacture up to 4,000 cars per month.
ZAP has opened a joint development office in Beijing with lithium-polymer and nanotech battery developer Advanced Battery Technologies, Inc. to expand their research, manufacturing and marketing of advanced batteries for electric cars using the latest in nanotechnology.
China's number one luxury motor coach and high-quality commercial truck manufacturer, Youngman Automotive Group, has signed a joint venture agreement with ZAP to manufacture, market and distribute electric and hybrid vehicles for the passenger car, truck and bus markets. The new joint venture company will also focus on the development and manufacturing of electric charging infrastructure.
ZAP is developing a high-performance crossover SUV electric car concept called ZAP-X engineered by Lotus Engineering.
