Martek Biosciences Shares Fall Upon Reaffirmation of Second Quarter Revenue Forecast

Martek Biosciences Corp. (MATK) shares fell, falling to $34.80 after the company reaffirmed its second-quarter revenue forecast of $55 million. Martek revised its third-quarter revenue forecast to a range of $38 million to $42 million; revised its fourth-quarter revenue outlook to a range of $61 million to $76 million; and revised lower its fiscal 2005 revenue outlook to a range of $220 million to $240 million.
