Advanced Life Sciences Announces Filing of Initial Public Offering
Woodridge, Ill, April. 28, 2005 – Advanced Life Sciences Holdings,
Inc. announced today that it filed a registration statement with the
Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering of
its common stock. The number of shares to be offered and the price range for
the offering have not yet been determined.
C.E. Unterberg, Towbin, LLC will serve as sole bookrunning manager, with
Think Equity Partners, LLC acting as co-lead manager for the proposed
offering.
Advanced Life Sciences is a biopharmaceutical company engaged in the
discovery, development and commercialization of novel drugs in the
therapeutic areas of infection, cancer, and inflammation using its platform
in natural products and chemical proteomics coupled with expertise in drug
development.
A registration statement relating to these securities has been filed with
