Green IPO Watch at Renewableenergystocks.com: South Dakota Community-Wind Development Company, Dakota Wind Energy, Announces Intrastate Public Investment Offering
Oct 27 ,2008 - Dakota Wind Energy, along with its manager, National Wind, announces
today an intrastate public investment offering of its securities. This
offering, open to South Dakota residents only, provides an opportunity
to invest and own units in Dakota Wind Energy. Dakota Wind Energy plans
to develop up to 750 megawatts (MW) of community-based wind projects
located in Day, Roberts, and Marshall Counties, South Dakota.
Delphi Financial Corp., a Minneapolis-based investment firm and affiliate
of National Wind, has joined with Financial Partners, an Aberdeen, South
Dakota-based investment firm, to work as the broker-dealers for the
offering.

next month. Meetings will be held in Eden, Aberdeen, Sisseton, Milbank,

Dakota Wind Energy also has an on-going intrastate public “land”
offering, available to community members within the project’s
footprint. Separate from the intrastate public investment offering,
this opportunity gives community members the option to lease their land
to Dakota Wind Energy in exchange for units in the company.
