Participating firms will travel part of two U.S. delegations to GWREF in Beijing as well as three additional Chinese cities. The program is based on structured and facilitated business meetings with pre-screened environmental and energy administrators, policy makers, project leaders, energy firms and investors in four key Chinese cities: Beijing, Wuhan, Zhuzhou and Shenzhen and in two provinces with rich renewable energy resources: Inner Mongolia and Gang Su. Participating firms will travel as a group under the leadership of IFCE and ACORE. Chinese language interpretation will be provided. The business package includes:

  • 11 day escorted business mission to 4 major cities in China
  • Structured business meetings with local officials and businesses in Beijing, Wuhan, Shenzen, Zuzhou, Gansu Province and Inner Mongolia
  • Escorted tour of equipment exhibition at GWREF on October 24-26
  • Pre-arranged accommodations and ground transportation
  • Targeted one-on-one meetings with local project representatives and key officials
  • Facilitation of industry and governmental contacts
  • Pre-arranged international company presentations to Chinese companies at GWREF and other workshops
  • Mandarin Chinese language interpretation
  • Tours and sightseeing of Beijing and other cities
  • Opportunities to exhibit products and technologies at GWREF on Oct. 24-26
  • Site visits to key project locations, equipment manufacturers, city offices and research institutes

The Great Wall World Renewable Energy Forum in Beijing will exhibit the latest technologies, equipment and management expertise to more than ten thousand professionals and government officials from all over China. The mission will be benefited from the strong connections developed by IFCE and ACORE with Chinese renewable energy industries, central and provincial governments, local mayors, and private sector firms. The principal focus of this outgoing trade mission is to identify and cement business opportunities in China for the selected international green-tech companies.

The delegation with technical focus on solar PV, solar thermal biomass and biofuels will go to Shenzhen, Zhuzhou and Wuhan before the GWREF (Oct. 15-26), while another delegation on wind power (utility/small scale) and geothermal will travel to Gansu and Inner Mongolia after the GWREF (Oct. 23-Nov.3).
