Public Home Builders Council of America Launches Interactive Web Site @ www.phbca.org
NEW YORK, May 6, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The Public Home Builders Council of America (PHBCA), which is comprised of 13 of the leading public homebuilding companies, today announced the official launch of its Web site www.phbca.org. The Web site is dedicated to providing the general public, media and investment community with a one-stop-shop for information on large public homebuilders.
PHBCA is a non-profit organization devoted to raising awareness and recognition for the expanding role that the public builders play as stable and growing providers of housing for millions of Americans.
Some of the features currently found on the PHBCA Web site include:

The PHBCA member companies currently build homes in 37 states across the country and delivered over 225,000 new homes in 2003, or more than 20% of all new homes sold in the U.S. in that year. In the top 25 housing markets, PHBCA members collectively held, on average, more than 25% market share in 2003(1).
