Technology
Wescorp provides patented, proprietary, innovative and unique technologies with strong economic and environmental advantages over competitors.
Wescorp intends to use their environmentally friendly technologies independently or in conjunction with each to address the critical water and contaminated soil issues facing the oil and gas industry today.
Water Remediation
- The Athabasca River is the primary water source for all oil sands exploration, development and production in northern Alberta Canada
- For every barrel of synthetic crude oil produced through heavy oil upgrading 2-4 barrels of fresh water is used
- In Canada alone, existing and approved oil sands operations are currently licensed to remove and use 2.5 billion barrels of water per year from the Athabasca River
- Tailings ponds already cover more than 60 square kilometres (23 square miles) in northern Alberta Canada and can be seen from space with the naked eye.
Weatherford International Ltd (NYSE:WFT) has executed a letter of intent for the testing of Wescorp's wholly-owned water remediation technology in two projects in South America. H2Omaxx is a commercially proven, safe, effective and economical process for cleaning and separating oil and solids from produced water.Independant Test results on the unit have been shown to reduce the oil content in produced water to less than 0.001% or 10 parts per million oil allowing oil and gas operators to reduce, reuse, and recycle water without the use of chemicals filtration systems, high temperature systems and high pressure vessels.

Environmental Remediation
Wescorps HCXT technology cleans and separates solids from hydrocarbons, water and drilling mud's created from the drilling and production of oil/gas. Bio-degradable chemicals separate and clean solids and drilling cuttings transforming them from solids that would be waste products and very expensive to dispose of into solids that are approved by environmental agencies for commercial and residential use as sand gravel or fill.
