New York, NY - October 8, 2010 (Investorideas.com Newswire) - The Woodhaven Production Company is proud to announce that it will be presenting a panel at 9pm, Friday, October 8th, at New York Comic Con. The panel will focus on Woodhaven's two horror films, "Inkubus," which was shot this summer, and "Infected," which will be shot this fall. The panel will feature director Glenn Ciano, along with stars from his films, such as Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill, Loosies, Infected), Christy Carlson Romano (Even Stevens, Mirrors 2, Infected), Michelle Ray Smith (Salt, Inkubus), and Tom DeNucci (Inkubus, Loosies, Infected).
"The buzz around the company is exploding, and we are very excited by everything we're hearing," said Chad A. Verdi, managing partner of Woodhaven, and a producer of both films. "We couldn't be happier by the results," added Verdi. "We are being embraced by Rhode Island, Hollywood, our peers, and the fans, and for a newly formed company we couldn't ask for a better reception."
Woodhaven is in the final stages of post-production on Inkubus, and expects to have a final cut in the coming weeks. This horror saga, which stars Robert Englund (the original Freddy Krueger), William Forsythe (Halloween, The Devil's Rejects), Joey Fatone (My Big Fat Greek Wedding), Jonathan Silverman (Weekend at Bernie's) and Michelle Ray Smith (Wedding Daze), tells the story of the final shift at a police station, where a demon appears holding the severed head of a murdered girl, and begins to proudly confess to his litany of crimes,
Infected, which will begin shooting sometime this fall, follows a father and son who have to fight to survive against a deadly virus spreading in the woods. The film, which is directed by Glenn Ciano and written by Ciano and Robert Rotondo, will star Michael Madsen, Christy Carlson Romano, William Forsythe, and Tom DeNucci.
Ciano, along with the actors, will be fielding questions about both films this evening, and will be showing exclusive footage from Woodhaven's first feature, Inkubus, as well.
