Immucell shares surge in wake of 1Q report (ICCC)

NEW YORK April 20, 2005 -- ImmuCell (ICCC) shares jumped 13.4% to $4.73 after the Portland, Me., biotechnology firm posted first-quarter earnings of $259,000, or 9 cents a share, up from a year-ago profit of $172,000, or 6 cents a share. Revenue rose 29% in the latest three months to $1.6 million.
